Building Management System (BMS)

A Building Management System (BMS), otherwise known as a Building Automation System (BAS), is a computer-based
Control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical
Equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, Fire systems, and security systems. A BMS consists of Software and hardware; the software program, usually Configured in a hierarchical manner, can be proprietary, Using such protocols as C-Bus, Profibus, and so on.
Vendors are also producing a BMS that integrates the use of Internet protocols and open standards such as Device Net, SOAP, XML, BACnet, Lon Works and Modbus.

AS-B Server

An AS-B server is a powerful automation server that features both onboard I/O and built-in power supply. Like the other automation servers, the AS-B server is a Schneider Electric manufactured embedded device that generally serves as the lowest tier EcoStruxure BMS server within the EcoStruxure BMS. The automation server controls and supervises equipment, typically HVAC equipment. The AS-B server uses its onboard I/O with connected field devices, such as sensors and actuators, to do that.

The AS-B server is installed on DIN rails in cabinets.

SpaceLogic AS-P

AS-P Server

The AS-P server performs key functionality, such as control logic, trend logging, and alarm supervision, and supports communication and connectivity to the I/O and field buses. The distributed intelligence of the EcoStruxure BMS helps ensure fault tolerance against detected faults and provides a fully featured user interface through WorkStation and WebStation.

MS51-7103 Spring Return TAC DuraDrive Proportional Valve Actuator

TAC DuraDrive Actuator

TAC DuraDrive Linear Actuators are designed to mount directly onto two-way or three-way globe valves without the use of linkages. They provide linear travel to operate globe valves 1/2″ to 2″ VB-7000 valves, discontinued 1/2″ to 1 1/4″ VB-9000 valves, 2 1/2″ to 4″ VB-9000 valves, and 2 1/2″ to 5″ VB-8000 valves in chilled water, hot water and steam applications up to 366° F. Linear spring return actuators provide control of valves in HVAC systems.
